about faith, hope and love…
do you remember these terms? faith, hope and love.. Originated from Corinthians, once popular among lovers… still do… I even found them in few movie dialogues…
of those terms and for whatever reasons… when I was thinking about mr.Navorsky who did journey to New York and surviving the international terminal cage just to get his father's jazz collection signed (movie: the terminal), I tought that only great love can deliver such power for him to survive and accomplish his mission. But then again, you'd heard this also "For truly I say to you, if you have faith as a grain of mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, Move hence to yonder place, and it will move; and nothing will be impossible to you (Matt. 7:20)". Now, can you differ those two? Do you reckon which the power and the direction?
Then my brain creates an imagination of those three components… Hope is our goal… which sets our path… Faith is our daily routine efforts along with external resources, limitation, boundaries and rules that keep us stay on track… Love is the power to move us toward the goal…
Now let's analyze the moving mountain… He said that when we do have faith as a grain of mustard seed, nothing impossible for us to do.. Did He point that faith does the power? I bet He did. Of course He meant it's not our power but His. Yes, His love must took great part of whatever His been, said and done. This must comprehended as our love is incapable to move any mountain, thus he suggest that we need faith as to add more external power which is His. All we have to do is ask.
Then I come to this conclusion that His love is greater than average human being. However as Javanese and the Gospel of St. Thomas pointed that He lies in our heart thus his power is ours. Can you imagine what you can do if you optimize your love to move whatever great things?
done with this.
