Sabtu kemarin, akhirnya jadi ngebut juga bareng Ivan setelah absen 3 bulan lebih… Kali ini kita berangkat jam 05.15 dari depan starbucks TIS (Tebet), dan sampe tempat bubur Cipayung jam 05.45. Setelah bubur dan ngobrol sana-sini dikit kita turun jam 06.30, sampai rumah jam 07.05.
Perjalanan berangkat cukup bikin keder karena sudah lama ga ngebut.. kayaknya mesti balikin mindset ngebut yang sudah agak terplupakan, yaitu nginjek pedal gas sampai pol, steer handling yang lincah dan selalu siap nginjek rem sedalem mungkin…
Suasana yang masih gelap dan ramenya jalanan juga bikin tambah keder… apalagi Ivan ga nyalain lampu, jadi cukup membahayakan mobil yang disalipnya termasuk aku sendiri…

My car is an Audi A4 with 6 cylinders 2.600 Liter and V configuration engine. An engine that could produce max 150 bhp at 5600 rpm. It has name… I called it "si hijau". Manufactured in 1999 (i suspect it produced in 1998 in Germany), the green has not so old looks but still cute yet powerful.
Not like the other Audi, the green does not have any leather interior, but it never be an issue for me since I also never be a fan of leather either. The red of every indicators makes it sport looks contrast to green and black theme. The green were never be a luxury car… but comfort thus personal functionality…
What has it delivered to me?
Everything about velocity experience… everything about handling experience… everything about the life beyond 200 kmph…

12 minutes Ciawi-Jakarta (or less?)
Cost me a lot to maintain its performance.. just to maintain it always produces 150 bhp when I race, always ahead every cars on freeway… hundred millions for maintenance… no new feature, no new looks, nothing new just for maintenance…

They were afraid when interactivity feature unmoderated. They think that someone will say a bad thing about the product or someone will upload adult material.
I say, that as the web owner we always can trash offensive content at anytime. But to fear that might happen is ridiculous since the internet is the most democratic area for everyone to say just about anything.
I think it's about wisdom to be exist on the internet or not. If one big brand like nestle does not ready, better be not exist at all. Unilever seems adopted such policy for they don't have enough resources to manage very intensive image fluctuation.
is it safe for them forever? definitely not! soon they will found a blog post says very bad thing about one of their brand. How that can be happen? How to respond? Have you hear that dancow could kill? of course it could kill when one got hit very hard in the softer area of the head by its can… Did you hear that dove is a popular jerk off tool?

I have a story to tell about today presentation… yes, I present the NET's web services and few about today's web concept to Nestle's marketing communication and customer relations team. Do I violate non disclosure agreement about the meeting or else? definitely not! Days before the meeting, I learned that their corporate website (sahabatnestle.co.id) currently under Customer Relationship Manager and most likely will remain until few years to come. Added to my information that they need a new system for their CRM. Then i felt challenged…

Sejam yang lalu Ivan telepon untuk ngajak ngebut malem karena dia lagi suntuk… Karena gue ga bisa, maka kita jadi ngobrolin yang lain… Ivan ngingetin testimonial nya untukku yang isinya tentang rekorku dan hasrat untuk punya audi dengan mesin turbo… Setelah ngobrol ngalor ngidul sekitar ngebut, kita janjian untuk ngebut bareng pada hari Sabtu dan berakhirlah pembicaraan…
Begitu telepon ditutup… gue jadi merenung, berkhayal ngebut pake audi turbo itu…. betapa indahnya dunia bila dilihat dari mobil berakselerasi ok dan dari kecepatan di atas rata-rata… gue berkhayal dalam…
hingga akhirnya gue mendengar jeritan dari dalam hati yang sangat kuat… sangat kuat… betapa di hati yang paling dalam gue mendambakan punya audi turbo…
betapa siriknya gue terhadap orang-orang yang punya tapi menyia-nyiakannya dengan tidak mengajaknya ngebut… ohhhh…. orang-orang bego itu…

setelah mencoba berbagi pemahaman SOA dan social software kepada ardy, saya jadi terpancing untuk bergerak ke pemahaman yang lebih dan mencari contoh dari web 2.0 dan web services… dan tentunya mencoba mencari pendekatan yang aplikatif sehingga akan terlihat peluang-peluang potensial hingga akhirnya dipersempit hingga didapat the most feasible business opportunities.
pemahaman mengenai web 2.0 dan web services diperkaya pula oleh tulisan o’reilly, referensi dari ardy yang sebenarnya sudah saya baca juga di majalah e-bizz asia… somehow jurnal o’reilly tersebut lebih gamblang dan jelas. Menurut Tim O’Reilly doubleclick dan akamai adalah pelopor web 2.0 dan web services sedangkan google adalah pemimpin perubahan paradigma menjadi web services, dapat dilihat dari pola layanan nya yang hampir seluruhnya menggunakan web.

the web 2.0 came along with some new principles.. basically it just a new paradigm, a new way to look at and serve… a new way to build and use a service through some discovery of the human nature as social creature… i am not about to tell you what are those principles nor show you some examples of excersising the web 2.0… but i'm about to tell you few things that might defined as web 2.0 through its underlying criteria…
- a new genuine platform based on openess
- user generated content (user participatory)
- utility focus technology but flexible
- and neverending discovery…
the challenge of my new platform is how to link what one's thought to another's thought seamlessly, continously but always lead to a new idea… meaning constructive… more complex than just ordinary library, because thoughts have relationship and each relationship has a label on it…
my idea of new platform is make a system which enable a user to make their posts connected to another's and had relationship labelled… this will enable user to explore similarity and trace connected posts… 10yearsfromnow.com will practice this method, i believe… whereelse we can practice this platform? can you think of any… i do… imagine a website that aggregate recipes, make most interactive of comments and label them as "I tasted this" or "I will try"… and again enbling conversation between users… imagine same idea for aggregating tips of certain topic… what do you think? I will try anyhow…
